This isn't the IRS neutrally carrying out the letter of the law. This is apparently a politically-motivated targeting of a respected institution -- one that plays a large role in organizing and registering African American voters -- because of the political leanings of its leaders.
We know how important minority turnout will be in this election. Chris Matthews interviewed a Miami Herald journalist today who said that, for African Americans in FL, the scars from 2000 are as fresh and painful as ever. They are energized and organized, and ready to turn out in droves.
